The Systems Alliance is humanity's voice in the galactic community. Born from a joint-effort space program, they are not a world government but rather a new model UN that governs the colonies, runs the new branches of military that operate away from Earth (Alliance Navy and Alliance Marines), are Earth's exploratory authority, and is humanity's political voice on the Citadel. The Systems Alliance Parliament and the alliance capitol, are both located on Arcturus Station, a huge space station orbiting the star of the same name.
