The Vanguard

Vanguards are combat specialists that combine the combat prowess of a soldier with the biotic might of an Adept. They are generally not as augmented as a soldier or as proficient in biotics as an adept, due to the cross training, but the mix of abilities makes them dangerous foes. They concentrate mostly on close-quarters combat and make excellent shock troopers.
The Vanguard's free power is Biotic Charge. With a direct line of sight to the target, the Vanguard can propel themselves at incredible speeds at the target through use of a mass effect field. Upon impact, the field bursts, stunning the target and knocking them back with a sharp concussive hit. Charge requires two turns to cool down.
The Vanguard gets four Powers from the list, plus two user generated powers. They can pull from the Combat and Biotic power lists, and must have at least one of each.
The Vanguard is proficient in the use of pistols and shotguns, as well as one other weapon type.
