Eclipse mercenaries are a clandestine "security firm," skilled in subterfuge, assassinations, kidnapping, smuggling and information gathering. Like the Blue Suns, they are a publicly traded corporation, but they have hands in more sinister affairs than the Blue Suns, sometimes seeming more like mafiosos than soldiers of fortune. Many Eclipse members are asari or human, with a strong minority of salarians. The command staff of the Eclipse are all asari, referred to as Eclipse Sisters. It should be noted that part of the recruitment process for the Eclipse mercs involves committing a murder.
